Schinosa Awarded for Outstanding Coratina
Italian producer Aziende Agricole di Martino has won a Gold Award at the 2020 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for its Schinosa brand, a medium-intensity Coratina.
I have made extra virgin olive oil since 2016 and each year, I have won a Gold Award at the NYIOOC! For me, it is very satisfactory and means that we are on the right path.

In the 2019/20 season, the Puglian company produced 90,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil from Coratina olives using traditional harvesting methods.
"I have made extra virgin olive oil since 2016 and each year, I have won a Gold Award at the NYIOOC," owner Maria Francesca di Martino said. "For me, it is very satisfactory and means that we are on the right path."
"In Puglia, there was a wonderful harvest in 2019 and we produced excellent extra virgin olive oil," she added.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, held each spring in New York, is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest and its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
