Italian producer Aziende Agricole di Martino has won a Gold Award at the 2020 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for its Schinosa brand, a medium-intensity Coratina.

I have made extra virgin olive oil since 2016 and each year, I have won a Gold Award at the NYIOOC! For me, it is very satisfactory and means that we are on the right path.

In the 2019/20 season, the Puglian company produced 90,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil from Coratina olives using traditional harvesting methods.

"I have made extra virgin olive oil since 2016 and each year, I have won a Gold Award at the NYIOOC," owner Maria Francesca di Martino said. "For me, it is very satisfactory and means that we are on the right path."

"In Puglia, there was a wonderful harvest in 2019 and we produced excellent extra virgin olive oil," she added.
