We became involved in the olive oil business four years ago, harvesting olives from the gardens left by our grandfather. Simultaneously, one of our co-founders has been training in olive oil tasting since 2015. In September 2019, we decided to start Eliada. Our goal is to be a brand that represents the wholesome and nutritious cultural heritage of Aegean cooking to the rest of the world.
It's our first oil in the first year of production. It’s a great feeling to be awarded at the NYIOOC and a great start that shows us we are going in the right direction.
