Olio Saracino was born from the spark of new love and a newfound desire to return to my Pugliese roots in Italy. Our olive grove is located on the deep ochre earth in the Itria valley. Born to an Italian New Yorker father and a Pugliese mother, I grew up in the French gastronomic capital of Lyon. This cultural heritage is evident in our oil olive, a mixture of seven different varieties of olives, which are integrated into an exceptional natural blend.
I am very proud and honored to have received this award in New York, especially since participating in this prestigious competition was a nod to my late father, who was born in New York.
