Our family has been producing olive oil for generations in Greece. Some of our family immigrated to the US and brought the heritage of our olive oil with them and began Ariston Specialties in 1997 in Connecticut with some very innovative ways of selling Ariston olive oils, then slowly introducing small-batch, artisanal balsamic vinegar and other Mediterranean specialties.
This award means a great deal to us. This award rewards all the obstacles that olive farmers face today, not only with production but with marketing challenges too.
