F & B Foods ‘Humbled and Happy’ With Gold Award Win
California producer F & B Foods has won a Gold Award at the 2022 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest.

Based in Paso Robles, in olive oil-soaked San Luis Obispo County, the family producer earned the award for its Royal Oil brand, a medium blend.
In the 2021/22 crop year, F & B Foods produced 84 gallons (382 liters) of extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods. For Barry, the award caps off an excellent harvest season.
"This year was actually a great crop for us," she said. "We had a good crop and a great yield at the mill."
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, held each spring in New York, is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest. Its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
