We grow Italian Olive varieties, such as Leccino, Coratina, Pendolino, Maurino, and Frantoio. Our trees produce an award-winning fine, spicy and grassy EVOO. We cold-press our olives within six to eight hours of harvest with no additional heat or chemical treatment to ensure a wonderful extra virgin olive oil. Our flavor is described as rich and robust, with a perfect balance of bitter and peppery.

BearBird Ranch is an oasis in the middle of the grasslands and rolling hills of San Luis Obispo County, California. What was once a dream of Cathy and Ricardo many moons ago, is now a sanctuary with over 600 olive trees. Our goal is to produce the healthy, tasty extra virgin olive oil. We are delighted to share the fruits of our labor, bottled as liquid sunshine, from our ranch to you.
