Angélica EVOO is a blend made from three Portuguese olive varieties, Galega, Cordovil and Verdeal, from our centenary non-irrigated olive trees, in Moura, Alentejo. The farm has been in the family since the nineteenth century. Angélica was the name of my grandmother, a strong minded women who took her own destiny into her hands and ran the family farm after she became widowed in 1940, at the age of 39. This oil is a tribute to her, to whom we owe our passion for EVOO.
It is the most important competition in the world. In the end, to be amongst the best is absolutely encouraging.
