OPG Rheos
The name of our brand comes from the Greek word “rheos,” which means “spring” or “flow.” It symbolizes the process of making extra virgin olive oil from its source: freshly picked olives. The love of olives, grapevines and the Istrian soil are deeply ingrained in the roots of the Brečević family. Our family has developed a strong tradition of olive tree cultivation and olive oil production through three generations.

This was the first year for us at NYIOOC, and the feeling is really fantastic and satisfying because all our efforts and work have paid off. We are young producers, and we really want to maintain the tradition but with a different modern view, new technologies and knowledge.
