Galenia Estate

Three km from Montagu on the R62, Galenia Estate is hidden at the end of a 2 km drive on its own plateau, nestled under the Langeberg Mountains. Originating as a farm in 1877, after the opening of Cogman’s Kloof, this 1,300-acre estate was bought by the Bailey family in 2015 with just over 1,100 mature olive trees. Being a small producer we have planted a further 1,200 trees, mainly Coratina and Frantoio, so we obtain a larger crop while retaining our exceptional quality.
