Turkish Brand Eminems Olive Oil Triumphs in World Competition
Eminems Olive Oil from Turkey has won two awards at the 2023 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's largest olive oil quality contest.
Our goal when we started the company was to produce award-winning olive oil. Our Gold Awards at this year's NYIOOC validated all our efforts, and we are excited that our oil just arrived in the United States market.

The Milas-based producer in southwestern Turkey earned two Gold Awards for a pair of medium-intensity Memecik monovarietals bottled under the Oro di Milas and Eminems Olive Oil brands.
"Our goal when we started the company was to produce award-winning olive oil," owner Emine Colin said. "Our Gold Awards at this year's NYIOOC validated all our efforts, and we are excited that our oil just arrived in the United States market."
In the 2022/23 crop year, the company produced 12 tons of extra virgin olive oil. While the harvest went well, as it did for most of Turkey, Colin said there was a significant learning curve to adjust to their new mill.
"This was our first year in our new facility with a new Mori-Tem mill," she said. "It was an intense learning curve for all involved, and we are very proud of the excellent oil we made."
Held each spring in New York, the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition is the world's most prestigious olive oil contest. Its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
