Treurer Awarded for Mallorca PDO Olive Oil at 2024 NYIOOC
Spanish producer Treurer has won a Gold Award at the 2024 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's largest olive oil quality contest.
Undoubtedly, this award will help us consolidate our presence in the U.S. market and in other markets to which we export our olive oil.

The Balearic Islands-based company earned its second-straight World Competition accolade for a medium-intensity Arbequina.
"Obtaining a Gold Award at the NYIOOC is a great success for our olive oil, as it recognizes the effort made during a whole year to obtain world-class olive oil," said owner Miguel Miralles.
"Undoubtedly, this award will help us consolidate our presence in the U.S. market and in other markets to which we export our olive oil," he added.
In the 2023/24 crop year, Treurer produced 150,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil from Arbequina olives using traditional methods.
"The October 2023 harvest was of very high quality," Miralles said. "Every year, we have focused on improving the quality of our olive oil. In particular, in the last harvest, we managed to reduce the time from harvesting to oil production to just one hour, which has resulted in a significant increase in the organoleptic properties of Treurer olive oil."
