The Dalmatian producer earned its third award at the world's most prestigious olive oil quality contest for a medium-intensity blend of Leccino, Oblica, Levantinka and Lastovka olives.

"This is already our third Gold Award at the NYIOOC, which we are very proud of," owner Kresimir Uroda said. "This recognition greatly helped us in branding our oil, which was recognized by famous restaurants and hotels."

In the 2023/24 crop year, OPG Uroda produced 1,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods.

"Despite the drought, we had an excellent and healthy crop, which was reflected in the quality of our olive oil," Uroda said.
