OPG Marinković Triumphs in World Competition Debut

a day agoBy OOT Staff

OPG Marinković from Croatia has won a Gold Award at the 2025 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's largest olive oil quality contest.

The Dalmatian producer earned its debut World Competition award for its Ol Bol brand, a medium-intensity blend of Coratina, Leccino, Oblica and Lastovka olives.

"I am very happy and very proud to receive this award and to be able to see that all the hard work was recognized," owner Jasmin Marinković said. "It is an honor to be among the best olive oil makers in the world."

In the 2024/25 crop year, OPG Marinković produced 600 liters of extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods.

"Last season was very hot and dry, without enough rain, so we feared that our trees would be stressed, but in the end, everything was good," Marinković said.

OPG Marinković is listed in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
