Situated in Baeza, in the Jaén Protected Geographical Indication region, the producer earned its fourth World Competition award for a medium-intensity blend.
"It is a great honor and amazing how NYIOOC awards our effort, investment and resilience every year," said Clara Parejas, the company's marketing manager. "AOVEland offers visitors a unique experience in which olive tradition, technological innovation and contemporary art come together around extra virgin olive oil."
In the 203/24 crop year, Oleicola Jaén produced 5,000 tons of extra virgin olive oil using mechanical methods.
"The group currently has operations throughout the olive oil value chain, including state-of-the-art visiting facilities, AOVEland, where extra virgin olive oils are produced in real-time in an avant-garde mill surrounded by a beautiful landscape of olive trees," Parejas said.
