The company earned a Gold Award for its Damya Biodynamic brand, an organic medium Chemlali, and a Silver Award for its Damya Robust brand, an organic medium Chetoui.
"Winning these awards demonstrates that we take pride in what we do and that we do it well," owner Naouel Bouabid said.
"Those awards are an acknowledgment of a job well done and justification for the hard work that went into winning them," she added. "They bring credibility and open doors to new opportunities. It can impress potential clients, boost sales, and improve engagement and loyalty."
Massiva previously earned awards for both Damya brands in 2022. While drought proved challenging this harvest, Bouabid said her local cultivars were doing well.
"The main challenge encountered during the last harvest was the lack of rainfall as well as the heat waves that affected the whole country of Tunisia," she said. "But fortunately, our Chetoui and Chemlali olive trees are very resistant to water stress."
"This season, we spent extra time sourcing quality olives that provided fruit that yielded delicious oil," Bouabid added.
