Manni Oil Wins Third Straight NYIOOC Gold With Organic Blend

Italy's Manni Oil has won its third award at the 2023 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, the world's largest olive oil quality contest.

As with the past years, winning the Gold Award at the NYIOOC is a great privilege and honor. It is helping us to deliver recognition of the high quality of our oil to consumers in the United States.

The Tuscan producer earned a third-consecutive Gold Award for its Manni Oil brand, an organic medium-intensity blend.

"As with the past years, winning the Gold Award at the NYIOOC is a great privilege and honor," owner Armando Manni said. "It is helping us to deliver recognition of the high quality of our oil to consumers in the United States."

In the 2022/23 crop year, Manni Oil produced 8,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil from its grove of 15,000 trees.

"For us, located near Mount Amiata in Tuscany, the harvest has been very good," Manni said. "Despite the hot summer, we got rain, and the olives were very healthy and ripe at the moment of the harvest."

"The oil is very good this year with a high quantity of polyphenols that make the oils stable while adding taste and flavor," he added.

Held each spring in New York, the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition is the world's most prestigious olive oil contest. Its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
