It was really exciting for us to receive this recognition, given that ours is a young reality. This award makes us proud and pushes us to do better and better.

The Apulian producer earned a Gold Award for its Addurè brand, a medium-intensity Coratina.
"It was really exciting for us to receive this recognition, given that ours is a young reality," owner Michela Manduano said. "This award makes us proud and pushes us to do better and better."
The award for its extra virgin olive oil feels even better after the company overcame several challenges throughout the harvest.
"This year's harvest, although studded with problems relating to the attack of the olive fly, proved to be very profitable for our company, with no phytosanitary problems and satisfactory production," she said.
"The difficulties related to the first approach in the sector: organization in production, availability of materials and choice of packaging," Manduano added.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition held each spring in New York, is the world's most prestigious olive oil contest. Its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
