California’s Frantoio Grove Extends Winning Streak
California-based producer Frantoio Grove has won their seventh award at the 2020 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, taking home a Gold for their organic robust Frantoio .

This year's Gold is the seventh distinction the producer's flagship brand has received since first entering the competition in 2013. Frantoio Grove also claimed a Best in Class at the 2016 edition of the competition.
"We are elated to be included in this years winners," owner Jeff Martin said.
In the 2019/20 season, Frantoio Grove produced 10,000 liters of organic extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods.
Martin added that the weather had provided some challenges, especially during the harvest period, but his team was able to persevere through it and produce a top-quality oil.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, held each spring in New York, is the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil contest and its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the year’s best extra virgin olive oils.
