American producer Enzo Olive Oil Company has won three Gold Awards at the 2020 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition.

I'm proud of my team for all their hard work to ensure Enzo Olive Oil is the highest quality product possible.

Vincent Ricchiuti, vice president

The California-based company earned the awards for its Enzo Organic Delicate, an organic medium-intensity Arbequina; Enzo Organic Medium, an organic medium Arbosana; and Enzo Organic Bold, an organic medium Koroneiki.

In the 2019/20 season, Enzo Olive Oil Company produced 2,558 tons of organic extra virgin olive oil using intensive cultivation and mechanical harvesting methods, according to Vincent Ricchiuti, vice president of the California-based company.

"It is a great honor," vice president Vincent Ricchiuti said. "We have always viewed the NYIOOC as the top competition, so anytime you can come away with a Gold Award, it feels great!"

"I'm proud of my team for all their hard work to ensure Enzo Olive Oil is the highest quality product possible," he added.

Ricchiuti said that 2019 was a record year for the company, which presented a unique set of challenges during the harvest.

"The biggest challenge we faced from the 2019 crop was harvesting a record-breaking amount," he said. "Our team worked extra hard to make sure every batch was harvested and milled on time to ensure it met our high standards."
