The Apulian producer earned its second consecutive World Competition recognition for a medium-intensity blend.
"Winning the Gold Award at the laudable NYIOOC for the second year fills us with pride and reaffirms our commitment to excellence," owner Enrico Sanarica said.
"It's a testament to our hard work and dedication, motivating us to continue striving for perfection," he added. "This recognition underscores our passion for quality and encourages us to push boundaries further."
The award caps off a challenging season in which Sanarica and his team had to overcome the impacts of the drought in southern Italy, among other challenges.
"The exceptionally hot weather and labor shortages presented significant challenges during the harvest season," he said.
"Despite these obstacles, our team's commendable resilience and adaptability enabled us to overcome the difficulties and maintain the high quality of our olive oil production, creating our exceptional Ulivè Grand Cru," Sanarica added.
