The mild climate with little rain and the richly diverse vegetation give diverse tastes and "textures" to our delicious olive oil.

About Sociedad Cooperativa Virgen de La Estrella

Virgen de La Estrella was founded in 1963 by a few local farmers from Los Santos de Maimona, located in a privileged location in Extremadura, southwest Spain. Nowadays, there are more than 2,000 local farmers and 7,000 hectares involved. Since its foundation, Virgen de La Estrella has been known for the production of extra virgin olive oils of excellent quality and care for the environment.
