Sunrise Early Harvest

Our Sunrise First Harvest is carefully produced, from handpicked selected olives from our young olive groves. The olives are harvested at dawn, before sunrise, when they are still cold from the night. As soon as the olives are harvested, they are brought to the press, and within three hours the oil is already extracted. This special olive oil has low acidity, and is well balanced with freshness and shades of green in different layers, with notes of artichoke, green tomato, almond and apple.

Ashkenazi farm was established when the Ashkenazi and Ben-Basat families immigrated to Israel and founded the Beit Hanan settlement in 1928. It was there that Moshe of the Ashkenazi family and Levanna of the Ben-Basat family met, married and started a farm. They built a chicken coop, goat pen and planted various crops. Three generations later, Moosh joined his parents in the family farming business, and as advised by his father, started planting olive groves.
