The olive grove is located on a terraced hill, on the site of the medieval village that gave the oil its name. It is entirely rainfed. Olives are handpicked and processed within eight hours, producing an intensely bitter and spicy extra virgin olive oil with fresh notes of grass and green olives.

I'm from Sukošan, Zadar County, Croatia. My family has been producing small quantities of extra virgin olive oil since 1640. To meet the growing demand, I have started planting new olive groves. We currently have about 400 olive trees, and plan to plant another 400. I also run a holiday house where visitors can enjoy my olive oil, participate in tastings, and tour the groves.
