Pago de Visarejos is an EVOO that is on the way to being considered one of the best in the world. This has been possible by taking care of all the details. The olives are taking from the tree and transported in small quantities to maintain the integrity of the fruit. The olives are then milled by an experienced craftsman, wisely, with modern machines. In less than five hours, the olives have been collected from the tree, milled and transformed on an EVOO, in a controlled temperature.
Where to Find This family business started as a small grocery store in Madrid back in 1865. Initially, the family sold olive oil in small containers in that very store. Rafael Salgado, grandfather of the current producer, became a reference in the olive oil business and soon began to work with two factories in Jaén and Córdoba. His grandson, Rafael Salgado grew up in the business, helping to turn the company into a leading brand.
