Oro di Giano Macciano DOP Umbria Colli Martani
Oro di Giano Macciano DOP Umbria Colli Martani, is a blend of Moraiolo, Frantoio, Leccino and San Felice olives, harvested at the right varietal ripeness (middle of October) handpicked with harvesters. The cold extraction starts immediately, thanks to a modern continuous cycle system. The oil is clear, yellow with bright green hues; the scent is elegant and offers delicate herbaceous hints. In the mouth, the impact is enveloping. Each bottle is numbered by hand.
Where to Find My family farm, Oro di Giano, is in the hills of Giano dell'Umbria, in Macciano and is dedicated to olive trees, legumes, cereals, honey and fodder. More than 160 hectares of land have turned our past into a passion. San Felice, Moraiolo, Frantoio and Leccino are native cultivars, well alternated in the hills (15 hectares). We also grow chickpea, black chickpea, spelt, lentils, black lentils, barley, bean and buckwheat, all linked to the Umbrian agricultural tradition.
