La Roza Alta is a mix of Nevadillo Blanco and Nevadillo Negro. It is green in flavor and aroma with a medium-high intensity of fruitless. In aroma, the oil is reminiscent of olive leaf, fresh herbs, tomato, green banana, flowers and dry fruit. In flavor, it boasts the same sensations and is clean oil, sweet in the mouth with lots of almond. It is as complex and interesting and bitter and pungent with a hint of chili toward the end.

About La Roza Alta S.L.

In 2015 owner Ole Chr. Ø. Idland decided to retire in Spain. However, he did not want to retire completely, so he purchased Finca La Roza Alta S.L. and runs it with his son. Dad is responsible for overseeing projects and restoration of the house, while the son is in charge of olive oil production, sales and new technology, such as this website.
