il Salto is a 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil, obtained from olives exclusively produced by Tenuta Giannone. il Salto extra virgin olive oil is produced in the South-Eastern Sicily, in a hilly land of the Hyblaen Mountains (Monti Iblei), at about 600 meters above sea level. It is a blend obtained from the balanced mix of two historic native cultivars, the precious Tonda Iblea and the Verdese, to which a small percentage of Coratina is added.
Where to Find
In Sicily, in the heart of the Hyblean Mountains (Monti Iblei), in a small Village close to Modica city, Giannone family for several generations is dedicated to the cultivation of olive trees and the production of extra virgin olive oil. Their olive groves extend for about 5 ha, at 600 meters above sea level in a hilly land, giving rise to their precious extra virgin olive oil. The olive groves consists of a selection of mainly native cultivars, among which we mention the precious Tonda Iblea. Producer Profile
