Picholine Blend
Picholine blend is grown and milled on our farm in Sonoma County. It is bright with savory aromas of sea salt, fresh grass, pear skin and hints of fresh herbes de Provence. Flavors include green apple, artichoke, radicchio, walnut and arugula. The finish is spicy and medium pungent. The oil is medium robust and a blend of Picholine with Aglandau, Bouteillian, Solonenque, Grossane and Cayon. It has the highest level of polyphenols of our oils. CCOF-certified organic. Where to Find Gold Ridge Organic Farms was started by farmer Brooke Hazen in West Sonoma County, California. The farm sits 80 kilometers north of San Francisco, in the rolling hills of Sebastopol, where coastal breezes and optimal soils provide ideal growing conditions for 30 hectares of olives. The farm is certified organic. We make our estate-grown olives into four organic olive oils within hours of harvest in our Italian Rapanelli press. The results are delicious fresh flavors and generous antioxidants.
