Our oil is made from olives typically found high in the Chianti hills, where the limestone-rich soil produces an oil low in acidity, a distinctive enduring feature. Balanced between flavor and delicacy, this oil represents the best of the Giachi production and carries the PDO label. It is an intense golden yellow with a decisive, embracing aroma and elegant tones of artichoke and rosemary; bitter, strong and piquant with hints of black pepper and a distinctly almond finish.

Located in the hills of Marcatale Val di Pesa, in the Florentine part of the Chianti Classico zone, Giachi has been a producer of superb extra virgin olive oils for generations. With an emphasis on quality, Giachi’s premium extra virgin olive oils preserve the rich flavors of the olives from the Chianti region. The cultivation, timely harvesting, accurate pressing and expert preservation are the true passions of these two brothers.
