CARM Praemium is an organic extra virgin olive oil produced in the Trás-os-Montes PDO region of northern Portugal. The oil is very fruity and fresh both on the nose and mouth. There is a strong aroma of fresh olives, apples and tomatoes with an aftertaste with slight nuances of nuts, pepper and slight bitterness.

We have been winegrowers in our estates in the Upper Douro, surrounding the village of Almendra, since the end of the 19th century. Our oldest vine was planted in 1966 and, ever since, we have continued to plant and improve the selection of clones of traditional grape varieties, and introduced organic production methods.
