Cantasole

By Az. Agricola De Marco

You know this one: our original extra virgin olive oil, the one that stole the hearts of all foodies around the globe. The Coratina and Cima di Melfi blend is the best of both worlds – buttery and luscious, yet fresh and ever so slightly bitter to the taste. Picture taking a stroll through a field of tomatoes in southern Italy – the warmth, the colors, the scents. Now mix all of these in a bottle and you have our wonderful bright-green cooking elixir, the Coratina & Cima di Melfi Blend.

About Az. Agricola De Marco

In the beautiful Salento region, close to the sea, Vincenzo De Marco planted our first olive trees in 1885. At that time, the women working on the land used to sing to the trees during the harvest. After four generations, we still produce our oils with the same joy and care. Today, the harvest has been mechanized but still starts early in the morning. With this method, we ensure the olives never touch the ground and are taken to the mill to become EVOO within five hours from collection.
