Barbara Bio
For three generations the Barbara family has been producing delicious organic olive oils in Trapani. The 10,000 olive trees of the estate, aged between 60 and 70 years old, enjoy rich soils. Located in the western point of Sicily, the Barbara orchard soil is both limy and volcanic, making it favorable for the cultivation of the Cerasuola olive. This organic oil is famous for its balance and lightness and reveals in mouth subtle delicate hints of tomato leaf and almonds.
Where to Find Founded in 1996 in Mane, France, Oliviers & Co showcases the world's best olive oil producers from the whole Mediterranean region: France, Italy, Spain and Greece, Croatia, Morocco and Tunisia. We select the cream of the crop of each harvest. Our producers handpick and cold-pressed all of the olives within 24 hours of harvesting.
